1963

1963年10月に小田原地区音楽連盟により結成されました。桑原妙子が創立時より52年間、指揮をしています。

Founded by the Music Association of Odawara in October 1963 . Since the foundation, Ms.Taeko Kuwabara has been the conductor for 52 years.

 

1969

東京での初めての演奏は、結成から6年目、東京文化会館での東日本少年少女合唱連盟合同演奏会でした。合同演奏曲の「ハレルヤ」が難しくて歌えなかったことが、40周年記念のメサイアの練習時にも笑い話のように話題になりました。

Our first performance in Tokyo was in the Festival of the East Japan Children's Choral Association. As we were a very new choir, we struggled a lot with the joint singing piece "Halleluia" from Handel's "Messiah".

 

1970

次に遠くに行ったのは大阪万国博覧会でした。大勢の人の中で迷子にならないようにと、全員白いベレーをかぶって行ったら、どこの合唱団も同じ考えで白いベレーだらけでした。

The next long distance journey was to the Japan Expo in Osaka. We wore white berets so that we would stand out in the crowd. However, all the other children's choirs came up with the same idea, so there were white berets everywhere.

 

1972

沖縄本土復帰記念合唱祭では、コバルトブルーの海の美しさ、復帰に対する沖縄の方たちの熱い思い、帰途の船が暴風雨にあったこと等、昨日のことのように思い出されます。

From the trip to Okinawa Reversion Ceremonial Choral Festival, beauty of the cobalt blue sea, deep emotions of the Okinawa people, the storm during the return on the ship are among many of our memories.
